The Rolex watch with reference number 24396/06 is a vintage piece featuring a 9-carat (9K) gold hunter case, marked with the "375" hallmark, signifying 37.5% gold content.

A "hunter case" refers to a watch design where the case has a hinged cover that shields the dial, a style commonly seen in pocket watches and some wristwatches from the early 1920s.

The bracelet in question is certainly the Harrop Britannic, patented in 1906 as an original invention, making it the first of its kind. The Britannic bracelet was still marketed in 1964 as “The Queen of Watch Bracelets,” but it has not been available, either as a complete piece or in parts, for many years.

As a result, the early success of Rolex can be partially credited to the groundbreaking Harrop Britannic bracelet.
